E-PAD!
ENDORSEMENT
After seeing a
short demo on youtube, Steve immediately got on the phone with
Ed Eblen (President of E-PAD) to find out more. In 1998, Ed set
out looking for something that would replicate the response and
feel of a drum. After trying various types of practice pads
available on the market, he still wasn’t satisfied with the
extreme bounce of some pads or the lack of rebound of the others
and was trying to find a surface that was more drum like...thus
the E-PAD! concept was born.
Steve
plays his E-PAD! Practice Set every single day. They're light,
portable, and most importantly they feel like DRUMS...not PADS!
Steve
says "Ed is not just a guy making pads. He's very
passionate about what he does, and he's done a lot of research
for drummers. We have been looking for these pads for YEARS. I'm
honored to be a part of it!"
Please
take the time to try these pads out. It's what you've been
looking for!

MAY
INTERNAL MIKING HAS JUST SIGNED STEVE
Randall
May of Randall May International, has just signed Steve to a May
Internal Miking Endorsement Contract.
The
MAY Acoustic Miking System brings the technical and aural
advantages of internal miking players have experienced with bass
drums and makes it practical for all drums. Mounted between the
heads, the MAY system mikes the drum, not just the stick attack,
allowing all the natural tone, timbre, and resonance your drum
has to offer to be amplified clearly. Individual mikes for each
drum virtually eliminate all microphone cross talk, bleed over,
and feedback. The result is an isolated sound that is far truer
and vastly superior to the sound delivered by the same
microphone positioned externally.
In
addition to loading Steve up with plenty of microphones, Randy
also insisted that Steve try MAY's new IN/EX blend module. The
all-new MAY IN/EX blend module is a two input, one output, high
headroom, Class A microphone preamplifier designed by
award-winning manufacturer PreSonus Audio. The module is
designed to mix two snare microphones (one MAY internal and any
external) together into one channel to achieve the ultimate
snare tone for live performance and recording applications.

LUDWIG
SIGNS STEVE MOORE
Just a few months ago, Steve was playing in the great state
of Michigan. Normally, this would be just another one of 150
shows performed with Rick K & The Allnighters. However,
sitting in the audience were several members from the band REO
Speedwagon. After seeing Steve perform, Bryan Hitt (REO
Speedwagon drummer) along with his drum tech John Aldridge
(Not-So-Modern-Drummer fame) decided to introduce themselves.
After
talking with Steve, they urged him to send a package to Todd
Trent at The Ludwig Drum Company. After viewing Steve's DVD,
Todd said "...he is quite the acrobat." The rest, as
they say, is history...
Todd
is wasting no time in starting their relationship off with a
bang! He is already in the process of having Ludwig build two
custom drum kits for Steve. Check back soon to see what they
come up with! |
